Better than wolves mod

Right first off...

This mod includes waterwheels, companion cubes, windmill's, block dispenser's new farming options and more.

Minecraft adventure update

  

Some of you may already know but notch and jens have been releasing information steadily about the new update so I thought I would give a little list of what has been added so far to the future update.

First off the Ravine's and the new Lighting update will be added in 1.8.

New things that are being added are:

Giant mushrooms and npc villages (randomly generated villages with Ai people)

Randomly generated dungeons with what seems to be 4 new block types that look like Stone brick, cracked stone brick, mossy stone brick and iron bars









New bigger biomes (i assume that there will be a new biome or two as well not just bigger biomes-may be wrong-)

A new (scary) mob

Sprinting, Notch hasn't decided on the drawbacks of sprinting yet.

Critical hits

More farming options (hasn't given details on what)

Fully working Creative Mode (and individual admins can enter Creative Mode on a Survival Mode server if they choose)

Also mod support(i will be looking forward too)

Aether Prieview

The aether is a mod ive been looking forward to for a good few months now and up until recently i haven't really seen any videos of it.

For those who do not know what it is the best way to put it would be the opposite to the nether...that is way...way more impressive.

It has so many new things and also includes new better dungeons that have different trails bosses and a different look, there are 3 types bronze silver and gold
Bronze are small cave like entrances
 Silver are huge Roman like temples floating in the air
And gold are the most impressive they are there own island spherical in design covered in trees sort of like Laputa.

Minecraft 1.7

First off this awesome video put together by H.A.T Films

Minecraft 1.7 includes

• Added pistons.
• Fire or redstone is now required to triggerTNT.
• Fences can be stacked.
• Added Shears.
• Shears can be used to pick up leaf blocks.
• Shears can be used to shear sheep without hurting them.
• Sheep no longer drop wool from being punched.
• New textures for Cobblestone and Brickblocks.
• Silverfish was added (possibly for Beta 1.8).
• Pressing F3 ingame, near your coordinates is written the direction you are looking with 0,1, 2 and 3.
• The gray textures in the breaking animation have been replaced with opacity.
• Spawn rate of Squids increased. (?)
• Single slabs now use the bottom half of the full block's texture

Im sure this will be enough to keep people going till the next update :D

Mo creatures and more creeps and weirdos

Im sure these have been reviewed a million times before but i am going on the assumption that no one reading this has modded much...if you have sorry!

Right! first off a small comparison more creeps is more of a fantasy mob addition adding things such as hunchbacks that summon skeletons when you feed them cake,robot's and many more

And mo'creatures adds more
real mobs such as sharks bears fox's etc but also has quite a few good fantasy mobs :D

Both of these mods together can be a bit overwhelming unless you fiddle with the spawn amounts of the creatures although having a shit-ton  of new mobs is fun for a few minutes it quickly gets boring so i would advise turning the spawn rate down quite a bit

Both these mods add A LOT to the game so is very good for people growing bored of the vanilla minecraft plenty of new things to do but doesnt stop you from playing the game :D

Today PHYSICS in Minecraft :D

Ill give a quick description as this is more a "see to understand" type of mod
these is 2 different mods but from the same person :] (that being UltraMoogleMan)


These 2 mods bring a few differnet things to minecraft but the main thing being physics :D you can detonate tnt and blocks will go flying and rain back down =]...not too much to explian just go check out the mods here

Yogbox is out

There may be some issues with mods causing lag as it is the first version but this is a really good and easy way for people who haven't tried mods to do so now as it doesnt require any tampering yourself you just run the jar file and an installer comes up and you can select what mods you wish to use

The yogscast (bluexephos on youtube) have been getting  permission from quite a few mod makers to use there mods in the pack BUT this doesn't mean they will use all of them , they are going to pick which ones go well together and don't take away from the original game but do add good content

Minecraft mod review sdk gun mod

First off sorry i have taken so long had a few days where i had literally no spare time =[

Sdk gun mod is...well as it says a minecraft mod that adds guns...among other things to minecraft :D,
i myself really enjoyed this mod i found it very fun especially while going on a server with a few people and having random gun fights...was nothing organised trust me.
To play on a server you need to install the mod into your minecraft and have the server side mod on the server so unless you make your own server or specifically look for one with it there's not much chance it will work.


RIGHT onto the good stuff
this mod contains all your standard fps guns AK47, MP5, sniper rifle, LASER!, shotgun, flamethrower, desert eagle, rocket launcher, laser-guided rocket launcher, SG552, Gatling gun
...wellstandard except laser guided rocket launcher and gatling gun....and ofcourse the laser
It also includes automated sentries, jet pack, night vision goggles and an atv (all terrain vehicle) which is capable of going a ot faster than walking and you can also equip 2 of the guns  to it :D

you can either play this on your normal minecraft and spend a while gathering materials to make the guns and be able to walk around with a feeling of accomplishment and safety knowing that you can rape anything that comes your way OR you can for instence use this alongside toomanyitems (reviewed below) and destroy everything for fun OR do what i did and go server style with friends and have some fun :D

i REALLY like this mod and give it 8 out of 10 because its in depth and fun as hell...but its just some guns and isnt really that special outside of minecraft otherwise it would get 10out of 10 :D

Right...i like this song it can either be nice or creepy has been both for me depending on when i watched it but

Random minecraft update

Notch has revealed that Minecraft 1.7 will include guns :D he said it will also be going mmo style ...which could be pretty cool ;D ...also it will be split into pre-order dlc parts...not to sure what he means by that but...sounds good :D
also if you didn't know the 1.7 update will include pistons finally they have a new design and will only be able to push 12 blocks instead of 16 as in the mod
sheers will also be added and will be the only way to obtain leaf blocks and wool blocks ...also another use may be for defusing tnt
also slime balls will be used in conjunction with pistons to make sticky pistons :]

 notch has also been working on a new lighting system meaning that it will no longer have to refresh blocks constantly when changing from day to night or visa versa, night has also changed to more of a blue tint that before and torches give off less natural light and more warmish light

In a few days or maybe after a few new blog posts and if i get more followers and visits im going to change my layout and background and whatnot...and as im very new to blogging...was wondering if you could all help me by telling how to make it looks good and helpfull gadgets i may need to make everything better :D any help will be good

Got some spare time so...another mod review :D

I thought id start with the basics...well what are to me the basics of the mods i frequently use
so todays mod is single player commands which im sure if any of you have allready done a few mods may be aware of

ill start with the first few commands

/achievement <list|unlock> - Allows you to list or unlock all achievements /alias <NAME> <COMMAND> {ARGS} - Allows you to assign an alias to one or more words /ascend - Moves you to the next platform above your position /atlantis - Toggles atlantis mode on/off  /biome - Tells you what biome you are currently in /bind <KEYCODE> <COMMAND> {COMMANDPARAMS} - Binds a command to a keyboard button. /bindid <ID> <COMMAND> {ARGS} - Binds a command to a keyboard key using the key id  /bring [ENTITY] - Brings the specified entity to you. /cannon [STRENGTH] - Shoots a primed TNT in the direction you are pointing.

Im not certian if this will seem complicated to ay of you but its simple.
Bring up the console by pressing T this is where you will type any commands that are avaliable
Such as typing /cannon 1 will fire tnt in the direction you are facing with not much force but /cannon 2 will fire it at double the strengh and so on.

These are ofcours enot the only commands there is a sinple fly command...literally type fly hit enter and you are away, you can also type /setspeed (how fast) to change how fast you either fly or walk.

another good feature is by typing damage

This mod is "like 100 mods in 1" there are so many ways to just faff around if you are bored blowing stuff sky high...or you can build walls quick make your own mountains in minutes and copy paste anything you create for easy lampost placing ,bridge building or for just covering a friends world in penis's if you have access to their computer :D

This mod is a must if you are either bored or a serious builder or just want something to help you along in your game

simply put everything in the minecraft.jar except the worldedit.jar you have to put that in the same place as where the minecraft jar is located

This is toomanyitems

its something i have no matter what mods i have installed
it gives easy access to all items in minecraft (like invedit) except it works with other mods and gives access to mod contents at a click (saves all that hassle of crafting every item just to test it)
unless you play legit with no mods or enjoy installing mods and having to work to test them i would advise everyone who doesn't to get this mod

instillation is simple simply drag and drop into the minecraft.jar and you're all set and done :D(read minecraft forums if you dont know how to install mods)

Simpily open your inventory and to the right there should be the black box pictured above click any item and youll instantly have it shift click and you will have infinite of the item :] there is also a save inventory function that can be used say if you want quick access to toolsets building materials or minecart supplies :]

as above i would advise anyone with mods to get this
